CloudVolumes for Enterprise Server Workloads

Relocate, reconfigure and update servers to perform new tasks on demand with no downtime. Supports popular enterprise and internally developed custom applications. Virtual servers can be managed simply and upgraded to future versions all while continuing to operate current workload as-is.

Capacity on Demand

Elastic Capacity is available without vMotion. When an event occurs which requires 1000’s of servers within seconds (e.g. CNN newsbreak) you can create capacity within seconds while using a single copy of an application.

Dynamic High Availability

Instead of hot standbys for meeting HA needs, which require one or more VMs to take over for each workload, you start by creating stateless servers that can take on required roles dynamically. Significantly reducing the resources required to achieve HA.

Single Image Management

For Applications, Data, and Settings that comprise a workload a single copy of an application can be used while keeping the data and settings specific to a VM or user. There is also the option for having a single copy of the entire workload used across multiple VMs

Advanced Application Provisioning

There is no packaging, no modification and no streaming required when applications are provisioned using CloudVolumes. They are immediately made available dynamically, upon login or at boot.
